A motivating transformational leader, trainer as well as mentoring/ coaching consultant with a proven track record of excellent strategic decision making, facilitation, instructional design, project management , customer and relationship management skills. I have impacted more than 22,000 people through developmental, organisational and behavioural interventions delivered across a 16-year career span working in widening participation, student and staff development.
As part of the Leadership team, I am Programme Director for our flagship positive action programmes that focus on communities/fields such as gender and race. I am also programme Director for team activities, our in-house 360 process and Coaching at UCL

Thalia facilitates, trains and coaches in English and Greek but can also hold basic conversations in Spanish and Hungarian. Very familiar with continental Europe and Latin American cultures apart from British and Greek. I am of mixed nationality and went to Greek and International Schools

16 years of HE experience and a recipient of many internal and external awards, including the 2017 Times Higher Leadership and Management award for alumni. Here are some highlights from my roles
• More than 8,000 people have been engaged and impacted by developmental and behavioural interventions delivered in 3,5 years in my time as Leadership and Coaching Manager
• Close collaboration with influential stakeholders such as HRBP's, the EDI team, Directors of Operations, Heads of Department, staff in a strategic, consultative, operational and developmental capacity
• Just under 1000 women have gone through WILD and S/WILD. I redesigned and repackaged our flagship programmes from 2 days a week to a six month programme. The Emerging Leaders Programme has seen 70 people go through it since 2022. The Net promoter score averages between 8.6 and 9.2 out of 10 on the above courses
The success of the Professional Mentoring strand led to it becoming an independent element of the Student Development /Student Engagement Department which I was asked to lead on.
• More than 12,000 people impacted by the scheme that aimed at behavioural change and personal development.
• Developed the strategic vision for the programme. Maintained its vision in line with University and Departmental values
• Staff Management - 1 x Professional Mentoring Coordinator and6 temporary Professional Mentoring Assistants
• Brokering and facilitating relationships between 400 students and professionals per annum= 12,000
• Employer Engagement and volunteer management
• I also held responsibility for Professional Mentoring which was only for BAME students in 2007; by 2012 the number of pairs rose from 20 to 85 and though priority was given to those from underrepresented backgrounds, the scheme was made available to all students
