Ana Oliveira Pinto
Ana is a certified Portuguese Executive Coach (EMCC- EIA senior practitioner) with nearly 3500 hours of executive coaching practice and has almost 25 years’ experience of working with organizations on Change Management and Executive & Talent Development projects. Ana works in Portugal and internationally, namely in Europe, South America Africa and Asia, and across a wide range of sectors: Health, IT, Finance, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Manufacturing, Consultancy, Telecommunications, Retail and NGO’s. This has provided to Ana the opportunity to develop a deeper sense of inter-cultural sensitivity and work with a high variety of working and culture styles, as well as market environments.
In her coaching Ana has specialized in working with senior executives developing leadership capabilities, awareness and confidence, especially in transition periods, either in the context of a promotion, working within a new company, or through periods of major change, such as international assignments, and organizational restructuring.
Ana has experience in coaching one to one, as well as in team coaching and working as a feedback coach in leadership development programmes, using development tools, namely WPB5, ISI, MBTI, DiSC, Hogan, Lominger, Multirater 360º Success Insights, Leadership Circle Profile, Learning Styles and 360º Feedback Tools based in Companies’s Competencies Profile.
The development of high achiever’s women is one of her preferred areas of work and over the last five years Ana has developed a specialism in supporting women career advancement to top leadership roles.
Ana adopts a person-centered and systemic approach, as well as a focus on strengths and solutions.
Ana’s style is warm and close, but still very accurate, transparent and action-oriented. Clients often describe her as ‘an exceptional listener’, with empathy that encourages her clients to talk with truth, openness and candor.
Ana provides her clients with the space to develop themselves to become the person they want to be, to take responsibility for their lives, which ultimately means gaining an awareness of one's limiting beliefs and paradigms and acting upon them. Ana works with clients to facilitate change and create a plan of action that gives structure and clarity to the desired end results. Clients frequently share that the coaching sessions make them feel energized, more confident and self-aware, willing to take responsibility and move forward with a strong sense of meaning.

Ana is founder and owner of her own coaching and consultancy business since 2005. For missions outside Portugal she also works in associations with international executive coaching and consultancy companies.
Before this, she worked as senior consultant in two multinational consultancy firms (2001 to 2004 - Hay Group and 1998 & 1999- PwC).
