Alana is a leadership, business and team coach whose focus is on promoting the success of businesses through the unlocking of potential of its people. She is passionate about growth and development of individuals and teams by creating moments of truth, insight and deepened understanding to drive action.  
Alana brings a powerful combination of IT and Business experience to her coaching and facilitation voice and has an in-depth understanding of some of the challenges and realities of the corporate world.  Alana originally qualified as a systems analyst, B.Com (Hons) in Business Information Systems and spent more than 10 years in the corporate environment where she engaged with all levels of management.  Alana went through a journey of connecting with her passion and purpose when she trained as a coach with UCT Graduate School of Business.  Alana is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF), with over 2000 logged coaching hours.
As a team coach Alana’s focus is on creating a safe space for teams to engage in courageous team conversations to improve team performance.  Alana is one of the Nedbank Leading for Deep Green, leadership and team effectiveness workshop facilitators (2011- to present).

Alana has a diverse client base having coached senior and executive managers in the IT, Financial, Banking, Marketing, Health, Wholesale and Environmental Consulting industries. Alana also serves as an external coach on a number of panels across the Financial Services Industry and facilitates a number of leadership, team and personal mastery programs.  Alana is an associate of Hemsley Fraser, an international company which designs, develops and delivers training all around the world.  She has been part of the global leadership development delivery for Barclays 2014.
